Tomorrow
is a chance to meet another member of Lane Kiffin’s coaching staff. Offensive
Coordinator Jim Chaney will be speaking at noon tomorrow at Calhouns on the
River.
Back
in the college game after a few years in the NFL (St. Louis Rams), Chaney may be
best known for his days mentoring future NFL quarterbacks Drew Brees and Kyle
Orton while at PurdueUniversity. Now, as the
Vols’ offensive boss, Chaney is working hard to bring back the firepower once
enjoyed on Saturdays in Big Orange Country. There is no doubt in my mind that
once we have new horses in the stable, this teacher/coach/mentor will have
